Museum Pass Program

Through the generosity of the Friends of the Library, the library has passes available to several museums in the Greater Boston area. Passes are reserved on a first-come, first served basis. Families are limited to one museum pass per day.

How to Use the Passes

Call the Rockport Public Library at 978-546-6934 or stop by the circulation desk to reserve a pass. Tell the librarian the exact date that you plan to go to the museum. She will ask for your name and telephone number and will tell you when you may pick up the pass.

You need to bring your library card with you in order to borrow a pass . For most museums, the pass will be checked out to you for 24 hours. You will be asked to return it in our book drop at the end of your trip to the museum. There is a $1.00 per day fine for passes that are not returned on time . One-day dated passes are not returnable.

To make the passes available to as many people as possible, we cannot check out more than one museum pass to a person at one time. When you return one pass, you may borrow another.
