The Rockport Public Library offers a plethora of technologies for your use. The library is looking for new technologies to implement which will engage and enhance the user experience. To suggest a new technology, please contact the Library Director.
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the library. No registration or password is required.
The wireless network is named Rockport Public and can be accessed throughout the building and back garden.
The wireless network is available 24/7, so even when the library is closed, you can enjoy the wifi in the back garden.
To use the wireless service, you need a laptop computer, tablet, phone, or any other wireless device with a properly configured wireless network interface card.

Borrow a HotSpot from the library and stay connected to the internet whenever you are on the go.
You can connect up to 10 Wifi enabled devices to a HotSpot and get high-speed internet virtually anywhere.
Public desktop computers with internet access are on the main level of the building and in the Children’s Room.
The PCs are loaded with Windows 10 (OS), Microsoft Office 2013, and the latest browsers.
Users must sign in to a public computer with a valid library card or guest pass.

Users of the library’s public computers may save files to their own flash drives. We keep supplies of flash drives($5.00 each) and headphones($1.50 each) at the reference desk.
Black & White and color printing service are available from all public computers at a charge of 0.15 cents per copy for a B&W and 0.50 cents for color.

Copy, Scan, and Fax
A public multipurpose machine is available on the main floor of the building.
The copier only copies in Black & White. The charge for a Black&White copy is $0.15/page.
Scanning is free, and items can be scanned to a USB drive or sent to an email address.
Faxing is available at the cost of $1.00 a page.
The vending machine for the multipurpose machine accepts cash only.
