Rockport Public Library Food Pantry

Our food pantry offers a variety of canned goods, refrigerated foods, and fresh produce that anyone in need may take home during regular library hours. You’ll find it in the entryway of the Peggy Brenner Room (the large meeting room) on the second level that is accessible by elevator.

All items are available to anyone, no questions asked, take what you need. No identification or proof of income required.

Using reusable bags is encouraged, but bags are provided.

Breakfast and lunch items for children are also stored in this area as part of a dedicated program. Please leave these items for children in need.

Food is generously provided by The Open Door. The refrigerator was funded in loving memory of Kay Murphy, a library patron and community supporter.

How to donate
We welcome donations of non-expired, unopened canned goods and packaged foods that are unspoiled and undamaged. Items may be given to The Open Door or dropped off directly at the library.
