|Ben Bradlee Jr. to speak on Ted Williams:
the man & the legend
Former Boston Globe editor Ben Bradlee Jr. will lead off the ninth year of our Meet the Author series on Wednesday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. by discussing his recent biography, The Kid: the Immortal Life of Ted Williams. Due to space limitations, reservations are required – please call 978-546-6934.
Bradlee spent more than 10 years researching his definitive biography of the Red Sox star. The book is a thrilling and honest account of a legend in all his glory and human complexity. The Kid chronicles Ted’s extraordinary public life and his private life, which was filled with conflict, turmoil and rage – leavened by kindness.
