While we truly appreciate the community’s enthusiasm in offering us book donations since we’ve reopened, we unfortunately lack the space at the moment to accept any donations from patrons. The Library and the Friends of the Library are working on a solution to this issue that we hope to enact soon, but we still don’t have a date for when we can take donations again. Please do not leave us any donations at this time – either at the desk or in the book drops.
If you’re looking to give away your books in a way that gives back to the community, a wonderful option is the Book Barn at the Transfer Station. Second Glance in Gloucester is also accepting book donations – though we advise that you call them first to make an appointment to drop off your donations. We thank you for your generosity, and look forward to accepting book donations again as soon as we are able.
