Did you know that the library offers more than traditional books, DVDs, and music? In fact, we have an entire Library of Things.
We continue to add new items, so we may have added one of your favorite things. If there is an item you’d like to see in our Library of Things, please let us know! You can visit the library’s contact page for ways to reach us.
To find and borrow items:
- You can browse the slider below on this page, or search the library’s catalog.
- Most items can be borrowed for 1 week. Some items have a three-week borrowing time. Many items may be renewed if not requested by another patron.
- Most items can be placed on hold. To place an item on hold from the slider below, select the “click here to order” button on that item’s slide, log in to your account, and click “Place hold.” A pop-up window confirming the hold should appear.

Use Categories for “Things”
We offer “things” for many activities in our Library of Things, including supplies for you to try a new craft, complete some home improvement, play a game, garden, go birding, and more! Take a look at the list below to see use categories for our many “things.”
Games List and Categories from the Library of Things
Do you prefer to spend time indoors? In addition to our DIY and other “things,” we also have plenty of board, card, and video games to keep you entertained. Take a look at the list below to see the games that have made it into the Library of Things.
In addition to the Library of Things…
Seed Library (seasonal)
Each spring we bring back our Seed Library.
We are happy to bring nature into our Library of Things, and a seed library is the perfect way to do so. Seed libraries encourage the growing, harvesting, and the promotion of biodiversity and preservation of unique plant varieties. We are excited to participate in nourishing biodiversity and helping our patrons to be a part of the process. Please note that there is often a small supply of seeds, so we ask that patrons bring home a maximum of 4 seed packets. This seed limit offers more people the opportunity to start or enhance their gardens using our Seed Library.
We would also like to thank Wolf Hill, Ace Hardware, and Common Crow for graciously donating organic seeds, and Mark Silva for building beautiful seed containers for their storage.
Let’s plant together!
