Currently, the FOL holds two major book sales a year, as well as several smaller pop-up sales. The April and October sales are our biggest fundraising events, and they require high involvement by volunteers; our members are crucial to their success. Preparation for the book sales involves year-round sorting, shelving, and boxing of the donated books in our basement-level book room. After each sale, the nonprofit organization More than Words collects and sells the leftovers.
