Saturday May 4th isn’t just Star Wars day this year, it’s also Free Comic Book Day! FCBD is the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops! Founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book they’ll love, the annual event offers a huge selection of free titles designed to appeal to a broad range of age levels and their tastes.
The closest comic book store is the Paper Asylum in Beverly and they were gracious enough to donate their freebies to us from last year.
Stop in to grab a free comic book while supplies lasts, and plan to venture to the Paper Asylum this Saturday for their annual Free Comic Book Day event from 10 AM-7 PM, 260 Cabot Street, Beverly. There will be a wide selection of free comics for all ages, as well as an artist alley full of local artists!
