Hi, I’m Joe Dapper. My family including my wife and two daughters moved to Rockport 6 years ago and have been very active in this town we love since we arrived. Being a lifelong supporter of libraries, I believe libraries are instruments of learning, vitally important to the culture of the community they serve, and help define a town. I’m a graduate of Worcester State University with a B.A. in History and have extensive library operations experience from previously serving as a four-term elected Trustee at the Woods Memorial Library in Barre, MA where our family lived prior to moving to Cape Ann. I also serve on the Rockport Elementary School Council and am the GM & Director of Baseball Operations for the Rockport Townies of the Intertown Twilight Baseball League, the oldest adult amateur baseball league in the country.
