Introducing our new Adult Programming Coordinator, Osha Rose!

A seasoned marketing and events manager, Osha has been fascinated by computers and passionate about learning since a very young age. With the help of folks at the Gloucester Prevention Network back in her teens, Osha was able to get a work permit and land a job across the street from the library as a shipper for Element Books at age fourteen.

Before transferring her credits from North Shore Community College to Lesley University and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services Management, at the ripe age of nineteen, Osha happily accepted the promotion from receptionist to implementation specialist at the medical software company, Medical Systems Management. She loved the opportunity to travel across the country training hospital administrators how to automate their doctor credentialing systems.

Osha has devoted many years of her career to marketing and training roles since her teens, supporting technology companies around the globe, and local municipalities including the City of Gloucester and Ipswich Public Schools. Osha also enjoyed orchestrating hundreds of events during her tenure at EBSCO Publishing, an international library resource provider also based in Ipswich, MA.

We are very excited to share that Osha has published her own self-help book, Yoga for Relaxation: A guide to finding peace of mind through breathing exercises, restorative yoga postures, and meditation practices that can be easily incorporated into daily life. Stay tuned for new and fresh programming online, in-person and off-site throughout Cape Ann. We already have twelve new online events to share with you in February and upcoming programs, including the virtual “Cooking with Scraps” baking demonstration & discussion on Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00pm, ET.
