Library Update – May 18, 2020

|
At this time, the library is working with the local and state government to create a phased reopening plan that will enable us to provide our services in a way that preserves the health of our patrons and library staff. This plan will help guide us in slowly reintroducing services to the community. We will be posting regular updates on our website, through social media, and email newsletters as our service offering changes. Until then we appreciate your patience as we get back to serving all of you!

We hope you are all keeping healthy and safe! If you are employed in providing an essential service to our community we thank you for the work you are doing to keep us safe. Although we are physically closed to the public, please know that library staff continue to work remotely and are available to answer questions. The best way to reach us is via email at info@rockportlibrary.org. We also have staff checking voicemail during the week so feel free to leave a message at 978-546-6934.

We hope during this time you will get to explore and enjoy our online databases and digital content. Please reach out if you need any assistance navigating our online content, or if you need your library card number or a new card. As a reminder all physical items that you and your family have checked out have extended due dates and we have no fines for overdue materials. Please hold onto these items until the library is able to accept them safely.
