Shakespeare On Love, A Valentine Tribute with Joseph Stigliano

|

We hope you can join us next Saturday, February 15th at 3:00 p.m. in the Brenner, as Joseph Stigliano reads from a selection of Shakespeare scenes, monologues from plays, sonnets, and other poetry. Bring your own short excerpt to read yourself, or one for Joseph to read on your behalf, including songs to be sung!  Reading aloud is the best way to understand and appreciate Shakespeare’s work.  Each reading will be from plays, sonnets, and other poetry dealing with the varying aspects of human love.

About Joseph Stigliano: Founder and Artistic director of Cape Ann Shakespeare Troupe (2008 – 2023), presently Artistic Director Emeritus, Joseph has worked with other local theatre groups, including Salem Theatre, Theatre In The Pines, Gordon College “Cry Innocent”, Gloucester Stage and others. Studied at the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts, and the H.B. Studio in NYC, Joseph has written a Shylock centric adaptation of “The Merchant of Venice” which is being prepared for publication in February 2025.
