This year the library is working with a smaller budget than the previous years. Still, the library always has needs that exceed the amazing ideas of the librarians and the community. We would be so grateful if you could support the library financially through a donation, amazon wish lists, or volunteering.
Promote literacy, build community, and create opportunities for lifelong learning by making a tax-deductible financial gift, joining the Friends group, buying items from our Amazon Wishlists, or donating materials.
Why Make a Gift?
When you support the Rockport Public Library, you are providing crucial support for a wide range of library programs and services that receive little or no public funding. Public funding pays only a portion of the library’s operating expenses. We depend on support from individuals like you to support summer reading, adult programming, technology access, and so much more. Your gift helps keep these vital services FREE for all of Rockport.
Donations to Rockport Public Library are tax-deductible per IRS Code 26 U.S.C. 170(c)(1). Checks can be made out to the “Rockport Library Gift Fund” and mailed to the library. We will mail you a letter of acknowledgment and thanks.
For assistance and questions about donations, please contact Cindy Grove, Library Director, at (978) 546-6934 or by email at cgrove@rockportlibrary.org.
The library has great plans, but limited funding. The library also has some basic needs to keep up operations that are less fun, but essential. Here are lists developed by the library staff of our wish list items! Thank you for being so supportive!
