We are pleased to announce that Victoria Gaddy is joining the library. Victoria is a native of Western Mass, who began her studies in Salem. Following graduation she found a joy for volunteer work, spending time with a New Orleans rebuilding organization, and then moving on to complete hiking trail maintenance throughout some of the western and southern states. Afterwards she completed her library degree at Simmons and worked at multiple small libraries throughout Western and Central Mass. Although she misses some of the extremes of the wilderness while tending the trails, and time back home, she is happy to settle into the Rockport Library and enjoy the seaside with her two house rabbits. She enjoys a large collection of hobbies including some of the many kinds of crafts, such as sewing and crocheting. She is excited to be the new Technical Services Librarian and is excited to see what the future holds.
